Leopard Geckos (Eublepharis macularius)

  • Blaze 2.0

    Blaze 2.0 is the breeding male of our Leopard Gecko division. He is a Black Night x 66% Het Tremper and will aid in BR’s newest breeding project. Name origin: Latin for “Fire.” 2.0 is because he is the second “Blaze” in Blazing Reptiles history.

  • Nuri

    Nuri is a 87% Black Night 13% Black Pearl female leopard gecko. She is the main mate to Blaze 2.0 in order to make some beautiful Black Night leopard geckos. Name Origin: Arabic for “My Fire.”

  • Agni

    Agni is a Black Night female with some potential Het Tremper genes. She and Nuri will be the mates of Blaze 2.0. Name Origin: Sanskrit for “Fire.”

  • Fuega

    Fuega is a Black Night female leopard gecko. She was added to the Blazing Reptiles team on 03/24/2024. Name Origin: Spanish for “Fire.”

Ackie Monitor Lizard (Varanus acanthurus)

All Ackie Monitors have dragon-themed names

  • Smaug

    Smaug is a male red Ackie Monitor. He is the main breeding stud in the Ackie Monitor division of Blazing Reptiles. Name origin: The main dragon from the novel The Hobbit.

  • Daenerys

    Daenerys is the main breeding female Ackie Monitor. Since all the Ackie Monitors are named after dragons, her name is fitting as she is the “Mother of Dragons.” Name origin: The “Mother of Dragons” from the Game of Thrones series.

Bearded Dragons (Pogona vitticeps)

All Bearded Dragons have snack food inspired names.

  • Frito

    Frito is a male Bearded Dragon. He is the main breeding stud in the Bearded Dragon division of Blazing Reptiles and is also used as an animal ambassador because of his willingness to be handled. Name origin: Named after Frito-Lays snack food “Fritos”.

  • Dorito

    Dorito is the main breeding female Bearded Dragon. She has orange coloration on her face and sides and enjoys being held. Name origin: Named after the Frito-Lays snack food “Doritos”.

Panther Chameleon (Furcifer pardalis)

All panther chameleons have Boy George inspired names.

  • Boy George

    Boy George is a male Blue Bar Ambilobe Panther Chameleon. He is the main breeding stud in the Panther Chameleon division of Blazing Reptiles and is also used as an animal ambassador because of his relaxed nature. Name origin: Named after singer-songwriter Boy George.

  • Karma

    Karma is the main breeding female Panther Chameleon. She is a blue bar x yellow bar Ambilobe. Name origin: Named after the hit song “Karma Chameleon” by singer-songwriter Boy George.

  • Zorrillo-de-Fuego

    Zorrillo-de-Fuego is a male Leopard Gecko of unknown breeding origins. His patterns are very unique and we are unsure yet if he has potential as a breeder. Name origin: Zorrillo-de-Fuego is Spanish for “the fire skunk.”

  • Gwumpibelle

    Gwumpibelle is a female Bushveld Rain Frog. She is cute, round, and very memeable. Name origin: Gwumpi is a cute way of saying “grumpy” and Belle is French for “beauty”

In Memorium
These reptiles helped to shape Blazing Gecko Productions but have passed away. They shall be remembered.

  • Blaze

    The inspiration for Blazing Gecko Productions, Blaze was a High Yellow male Leopard Gecko. He lived 17 wonderful years and traveled across the east coast of the United States from Florida to New York. His smile was infectious and he touched so many lives during his time on Earth. Rest in peace.

  • Sol (Lemonade)

    Sol (Lemonade) was a beautiful Murphy Patternless female Leopard Gecko. She was Moto’s main mate but a bacterial infection spread through the breeding group and she unfortunately did not survive. The offspring she produced still live to this day so she lives on through them.

  • Marigold

    Marigold was a female Fancy Bearded Dragon. She came to me as a rescue with a missing tail and swollen feet. She enjoyed having time outside in the sun and worked well as an ambassador animal due to her calm nature. Unfortunately she passed away but will always be remembered.

  • Cheeto

    Cheeto was an adult male Red Hypo Translucent Leatherback Bearded Dragon. He was a great educational animal because of his laid-back nature and loved to spend time outside in his rabbit hutch while interacting with Jazz the dog. He will be missed greatly.
